This weekend was some jewish holiday and we even got the Monday off. The entire day we spent moving furniture around and cleaning. We started around noon and we finished around 7 p.m.. One of the desks we moved outside, and the coat hang we put on the other side of the door. I also mounted the router and the hawking antennae to the wall, and mounted a thing to the wall to put the printer on it. Later we started cooking and Rado stopped by for dinner. After that Vassal joined us and I started making tea ( they finished 6-7 teapots of tea… ). And there it was 1 am. At that point we just watched the latest episode of Survivor BG ( the one that Margarita was sent away ) and we went to bed around 3 a.m., if I’m not wrong. The other two days of the weekend, except work I installed Vista Beta 1 so that Dary can use AutoCAD. My fist impression is not very good. First the installation did not detect the cd/dvd device ( from which it loaded itself ) because it was primary master and it had to be slave. After that I had a problem with the partitions because none was “active”. After I managed to install it, there were no drivers for my integrated NIC, or my 3com nic, only for the netgear… No drivers for my printer nor for my scanner, and the most annoying thing is that it asks you 2-3-4 times for every thing you want to do. Otherwise they did a good job copying from os x. We will see in near future how good/bad the os is…
