And someone rides a bike

Last Sunday I didn’t work. Vassil stopped by on Saturday and because the weather on Sunday was nice we decided to go for a ride on the bikes to the close park. So, as we were getting close to the park there is a bridge with a slight downhill slope. We started accelerating a little bit and just when I was about to pass the bridge, a kid jumped in front of me. I squeezed both brakes and the rear of my bike lifted from the ground causing me to take off from the bike. Fortunately, the kid moved away on time and I managed to land on my hands. The consequences were 2-3 places on my hand with a missing skin on the knuckles of the fingers. I didn’t think it’s a big deal then, but it turned out that when you type, you bend your fingers a lot. The bike also survived.

I’m glad I had my first aid kit with me so I cleaned the wounds very fast but opted for not putting any bandages to make the healing process faster.

That happened 4 days ago and all that’s left from the wounds are the scars. The healed pretty fast.
